I take my time with each of my clients to ensure that the final product is uniquely them and just what they’re looking for from the pre-session correspondence, to the day of the shoot, to the custom retouching every image after your session, every decision is made so that you look and feel your best! HOW DO YOU SELECT YOUR LOCATIONS?
Once we discuss the ideas for your shoot, and your outfits are decided, I will help you come up with the perfect location for your session! I love for my locations to compliment my subjects. What you plan to wear for your session is important for me to know prior to finalizing your location as well. I love shooting at lakes, using alleys, bridges and brick walls. I feel the possibilities are endless! I am respectful of location requests if you have a spot in mind that has a special meaning to you. No matter the location, count on your photos to have their own unique flair. I do include a travel fee if you have a location you would like to use that’s more than 30 minutes away from studio.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? HOW CAN I PICK THE RIGHT CLOTHING?
I will send you a portrait guide Link when you book your session with outfit tips and suggestions, also located on my facebook page. If you are interested in using the services of a professional wardrobe stylist, please let me know and I will be happy to refer you to one of the lovely stylists I work with!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
As soon as possible to ensure that you book your desired date. I’m currently booked about 1 month in advance. To secure your date, your session must be paid for no later than two weeks prior to the desired date. Reserved dates (that are not yet paid for) cannot be guaranteed- your date is only secure once payment is received.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT THE DAY OF MY SHOOT?
To have fun! Your photo session will be far from boring, it will be fun and relaxed! In order to catch the best moments, I like to put my subjects at ease. If you’re being photographed with your significant other, family, or friends, just interact with them as you would normally and leave the rest up to me! ( Smiling, telling jokes, tickling and kissing) these are great examples of natural reactions. Some of the best images are captured when the subjects are acting and reacting naturally, not posing for the camera.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER THE DAY OF MY SESSION?
Usually the morning of, or the night before we will decide how to proceed due to the uncertainty of forecasts. Unless there is a forecast of 60% or more of precipitation, we will normally proceed as planned. Not to worry though, cloudy days are actually perfect for pictures. If the weather is bad, we will simply reschedule to the next soonest available date.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY IMAGES BACK?
After your session I will comb through your images and select the best of the best- usually between 15 to 30 images ( depending on session) and 10 to 15 for a mini. These are then carefully retouched and prepared for presentation. 7 to 10 days following your session, your proofs will be ready for you to view and make the selections to order. The turnaround time for weddings is 4 to 6 weeks.
REFUND REQUESTED..
If a refund is requested due to any circumstances such as weather, moving ect.. please contact Mamaratzy Photography. Please be advised that once the request is made and agreed upon allow 7-10 business days for refund to show in your account.
